Kunwardde Bim Karridurrkmirri
Working for rock art
Njanjma Rangers are an Aboriginal ranger group in Western Arnhem Land. Our country is home to some of the most important and beautiful rock art (Kunwarrde bim) in Australia.
Our job is to look after these treasures for our children and for everyone. We're 'working for rock art' (Kunwardde Bim Karridurrkmirri). This website is about our rock art projects so we can share our experience with others who care about and care for rock art. |
Njanjma Rangers and Njanjma CountryNjanjma Rangers look after country around the East Alligator River in Western Arnhem Land. It is a stunning combination of stone country, wetlands and floodplains.

In order to show the breadth of work undertaken by Njanjma Rangers on rock art, the website also includes work funded by a wide range of Njanjma partners.
